Thank You, Julie Hein

There are people who show up for an organization in ways that never make headlines but change everything. Julie Hein is one of them. As she retires from her role as Director of Development at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, the Wayne County Jail Outreach Ministry wants to say thank you.

Years ago, Wayne County Jail Outreach Ministry needed a place to land. Without a home, we couldn't run intakes, plan interfaith services, or carry out the day to day work that our community depends on. Julie stepped in and helped secure our space at the George Asher clinic building, giving us a place to continue that work without interruption. Because of her, we never had to pause the services people were counting on.

Julie's support went far beyond logistics. She believed in our mission and made sure we had what we needed to keep serving individuals and families across Wayne County. We are endlessly grateful for all her dedication.
